Our Philanthropy
Nu Zeta earns positive recognition for its focus on charity and serving the community. UGA Greek Day of Service and Pumpkin Smash, held at 990, were notable giving and sharing successes.

Your Contributions
Nu Zeta is on solid ground regarding many aspects... Academics.. Membership... Leadership... Purpose... We have many, many reasons to be thankful, and many, many brothers to thank for their involvement and contributions.
But the building continues. As an integral part of Athens and UGA tradition, two of our responsibilities are to simultaneously maintain our heritage and at the same time develop our future. The activities of our fraternity demand replenishment, maintenance, and repair. Our mission to provide a vibrant environment for learning and living is asking you to contribute in a way that is both meaningful to you and to our Actives.
We're grateful!

Give to the Buddy Dillard Educational Foundation
The Buddy Dillard Fund was established by David Burch, Nu 1038, to honor Buddy's brotherhood and contributions to the community and Nu Zeta during his lifetime.

A native of Cochran, Georgia, Buddy Dillard, Nu 933, attended the Air Force Academy and graduated from the University of Georgia. Buddy established Dillard Realty in 1976 and continued as its President until his passing. During his career, Buddy served as President of the Athens Board of Realtors, and received the Lifetime Meritorious Service Award from the Athens Area Association of Realtors. Buddy served as President of the Clarke Central Touchdown Club and was a member and avid supporter of the Athens YMCA. The Y's Fitness Center was dedicated to Buddy in honor of his long support of youth programs and dedication to fitness.

Buddy served Nu Zeta for over 15 years, during which time he served as Alumni Advisor and High Pi, and Buddy was awarded the Order of Merit from the Lambda Chi Alpha National Fraternity in 2004.
Buddy's sons, Andy and Joey, followed in their father's Lambda Chi footsteps as Buddy served as High Pi, and Buddy's family was instrumental in helping us recruit so many of our Cochran brothers.

The focus of the fund is to assist deserving Nu Zeta Associate Members and Brothers in paying educational expenses including tuition, books, room, and board. The fund is working toward growing its value to $250,000 to serve as a self-sustaining financial resource.
Please contact David Burch to proceed with your generous, tax-deductible, donations. Or give through the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation site and choose the dropdown for the Georgia (Nu) Buddy Dillard Fund. Thank you.

Give to the Nu Zeta Alumni Association
Funds donated to the Alumni Association represent all Nu Zeta alumni, and support the Chapter with a variety of activities, including Rush (including local activities around Georgia), Initiation, Furnishings, and Special Events. Also, the Alumni Association helps preserve 990 S. Milledge Ave. as one of the premiere Old Row fraternity houses at UGA. Keep a good thing going.

Give to the Leadership Fund
Many of our brothers hold respected positions of leadership, both locally and nationally, as students and alumni, in business, government, and charity. Help support our ability to continue to attract and develop these leaders.
The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity anticipates active participation from the local chapter, including attendance at the annual General Assembly and other training and learning exercises. Expenses for these events, similar to any business conference, are the responsibility of the attendees to fund. We recently dispatched four, including the local High Alpha and High Tau, and two experienced and respected alums.
Please help with your generous contributions to help build Leaders through Nu Zeta.

Give to the Housing Corporation
Donations made to the Housing Corporation help keep our Nu Zeta housing facilities at 990 S. Milledge in proud, safe condition.
Contributions are directed to keeping buildings and equipment ship-shape and welcoming to our brothers and visitors. Current anticipated expenditures include minor, but much-needed, interior upgrades and exterior repairs and painting. Your contributions will help defray additional borrowing costs and boost the equity in the chapter's property. Contact the Nu Zeta Housing Corporation for more information.
